Perdido Key Local Cuisine
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Breakfast - Cobalt, Trigger's, or The Lost Key Golf Course Club House
Lunch - The Shrimp Basket, Surf City Cabana Club, Hub Stacy's, or The Jellyfish
Dinner - Sunset Grille, The Original Point Restaurant, Cobalt, or Lillian's Pizza
Nightlife - A must see for the adults is the 'last American Roadhouse' - The FloraBama. This world-famous bar has survived many hurricanes which add to the 'roadhouse' atmosphere. The FloraBama hosts several annual events such as the Polar Bear Dip in January, the Interstate Mullet Toss in April, and Songwriter's Festival beginning in Mid November. The Reef and The Purple Parrot Resort's - Surf City Cabana Club are two local hangouts that feature live music weekly and great service!
Activities for the Kids - Blue Angels practice flights twice a week during the summer months, the Blue Angels homecoming show the week after July 4th, Thunder on the Gulf Roars in around August featuring jet boats that race up and down the Perdido Key and Orange Beach shorelines, fishing from the surf of nearby piers, dolphin boat cruises in which the Captain's often educate everyone aboard about local sea life - wildlife and waterways. And if nothing else, the Perdido Key beaches are consistently ranked among the top in the nation!
